Even the manufacturing process and selection methods will be explained. The name Kutani ware comes from Kutani Village, Enuma District, Kaga Province.

It is said that it was originally made deep in the Yamanaka Onsen (hot springs) in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It uses a Japanese -style brocade known as Kutani Gosai ( green, yellow, red, purple, and indigo ).

Hard pigments are used for "top painting," and their bright and vivid colors are their defining characteristic.
